This is a super introspective song for me. It took me a while to write this one. I had some parts and would sit in front of my computer for hours a day just trying to think of what to do with them. With a lot of help from Brenda I was finally able to make it all work together as a song. This is probably the best mixed song aI've done so far. I'm really happy with the way this one turned out.

It always hits me when I least expect it
Spiraling down
Upon myself

Just burn it down and watch the flames consume it all

And leave the ashes where they lay

The ends justify the means
If the means
Can justify themselves
In the end
But that’s just not the case

No concern from me

A sudden slip

Corrupting everything I see

It’s all the same

Staring at the wall

What has happened here
How did it go this far

To my internal enemy

Refuse to live my life in fear

So much left to do
So many chords that resonate
Written on the staff
For all you to hear

Ill write down what I know
Though what I knew is mostly lost
So much to amend
And put back on the shelf

Fall away into the void

Ill right the ship and take the helm
